The Model T line grew with the introduction of the Sedan and the Couplet during the 1914 model year, but both are considered to be 1915 models. The Couplet was Ford’s first “true” convertible because, in addition to its folding soft top, it also featured glass side windows that could be raised and lowered (by a strap). The Runabout, which had been a staple in the Model T lineup from the beginning (model year 1909), had a folding soft top but no side windows.
